Cover-Rite V2 will eliminate all of these problems faced by
operators when over-laminating and mounting Solvent Inkjet Vinyl
Decals! |
|
Problem: #
1.
Too much break tension on vinyl film causes the
print to curl. This leads to edge de- lamination.

Problem: #
2.
Necking from excess brake tension causes the
vinyl to distort and shrink. (When Decaling, this exposes the mounting
adhesive, resulting in wrapping the rollers or damaging
them.)

Problem: #
3.
Image distortion and elongation make mounting
difficult without stretching or skewing. This typically requires you to
premask the vinyl decal.

Problem: #
4.
Applying a conventional over-laminate requires
constant monitoring of brake tension and windup clutch to facilitate ideal
break point of release liner. Most operators will set brake tensions
too high.

Problem: #
5.
Applying a premask after over laminating a
decal requires the additional steps of removing the web, over laminating
it, then reloading and re-webbing the premask; resulting in additional
labor and material costs.

Problem: #
6.
Traditional premasks make it difficult to see
crop marks, trim lines and registration points. This makes positioning
(alignment) of the decal to your mounting substrate
difficult.
